The Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore visited the Hi-P factory

On 21 July, Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Coordinating Economic Policies, who is also the Member of Parliament for East Coast Group Representation Constituency, visited Herbie's Singapore factory with his entourage.

Mr. Heng Swee Keat, later, on the 27th of July wrote on his social media, stating that after the visit, he saw first handedly, how Mr. Yao and his team achieved success through their drive and steadfastness for innovation and investments in technology. Through meeting some of our fellow colleagues that have been with Hi-P for decades, he then commented on how they all took great pride in their work and are all very keen on mentoring younger workers. He also praised how Mr. Yao and his team are very entrepreneurial as Mr. Yao shared with him that they are looking ahead to chart an even better future. 

Finally, Mr Wang Ruijie expressed his hope that Herbie would continue to grow and strengthen, thereby deepening Singapore's manufacturing ecosystem.
